Today Lawrence County Public brought the Columbus Zoo to us.

LCHS was placed in lockdown this morning. One class heard noises OUTSIDE of the building that resembled gun shots. The source of the noises was determined to be maintenance related. There was no danger to students or staff. LCHS statement is below:
All Lawrence County Schools will be CLOSED on Tuesday, December 17, 2019. This will NOT be a NTI Day for students and teachers. This will NOT be a Flexible PD Day for teachers and staff.

Today LCHS hosted Lunch and Learn: Apprenticeships In KY. Mrs Deana West and the culinary class did an OUTSTANDING job catering the event🐾🐾.

The JROTC Program at LCHS will be hosting their annual Veteran's Day Ceremony on Friday, November 8th, 2019. The event will begin at 8:30 with breakfast in honor of Local Veterans followed by the ceremony beginning at 10:00. All Veterans are welcome to attend.

LCHS will be hosting the 2nd annual Post Secondary Palooza Saturday October 19th from 9-12. Representatives from college and careers will be represented. Juniors have a chance to win a class ring. Seniors have a chance to win AWESOME door prizes!

Senior Salute recognizes students with a GPA of 3.5 or above.
If you were not happy with your school picture retakes are October 10 at LCHS.
Senior Portraits are scheduled for October 8 and October 9. Please check the Google Classroom for your scheduled time. Students will be taking a formal photo as well as a casual outdoor photo.
