The LCHS basketball season is just around the corner! The LCHS boys' and girls' basketball team representatives attended the WYMT preseason interview event! They participated in a tour of the WYMT station and gave interviews regarding the upcoming season!

LCHS 11th and 12th-grade pre-nursing students visited Eastern Kentucky University for an informational campus tour! They became familiar with the campus layout, They met staff members from the College of Health Science to learn more about offered programs!

Congratulations to LCHS junior, Ryland Brady for being selected into the LC Schools Dataseam Apprenticeship program! He will be participating in this program through the completion of his junior and senior years! Great job!

LCHS has started presenting a Student of the Month Award! Students are recommended by their teachers for going above and beyond. They must also display the four R's of being responsible, respectful, ready, and building relationships! Congrats Students!

LCHS hosted their Science & Data Night! Environmental science students presented a stream table with the construction assistance of the carpentry class! They also held their chemical reaction experiments with self-carving pumpkins!

LC Bulldog Football plays the Rockcastle County Rockets in the second round of the 2023 Class 3A Playoffs! The game is hosted by Rockcastle tonight at 7:30 PM! Good luck to the LC Bulldog Football team and coaching staff! Go Bulldogs!!!

Congratulations to the LCHS on their state testing results! LCHS moved to a green-status school! The staff and students celebrated with an early morning assembly! At lunchtime, students were treated to ice cream sundaes for all their hard work!
