The LCHS HOSA Club is hosting a blood drive on Friday, Dec 8, 2023, from 8:30 AM- 1:30 PM! This drive is open to all LCHS students and staff. Students under 16 will need a parent consent form completed before the event. Forms can be picked up from Mrs. Adams. Remember! Donating can help save lives!

Congratulations to LCHS FFA member, Kelsey Vance for being awarded the SAE (Supervised Agricultural Experience) Grant of $500! Kelsey will be using the proceeds to expand her Bohr goat herd and make improvements within their pasture area.

The LCHS Senior Culinary Class held its annual Thanksgiving feast under the instruction of Ms. West. The students prepared the menu, place settings, and table decorations. It was a memorable day cooking and enjoying a delicious dinner!

The new LCHS Fire Science class held two monitored burn experiments, allowing students to witness the way fire reacts in certain structures. Students were continually monitoring temperatures and answering questions throughout the burn process.

LCHS Carpentry students worked to complete the new LC Bulldog doghouse that now sits below the scoreboard at Luke Varney, JR Memorial Field. The students took great pride in completing the project! It is exciting to see the doghouse back on the field!
