Thank you to our LC Schools Family Resource and Youth Service Center coordinators for attending the LCHD Health Fair held at the LC Community Center! The FRYSCs discussed their current programs and gave away free digital thermometers! @LawrenceCoSch

Best of luck to our LCHS boys' soccer team as they compete in the first round of the KHSAA State Soccer Tournament! The Bulldogs will play against Oneida Baptist Institute this evening at 6 PM! The LCHS environmental class enjoyed a field trip to Blaine Creek to explore its marine ecosystem. The students received hands-on experience documenting aquatic insects, evaluating stream structure, along with determining land use and water quality. @LawrenceCoSch

LCHS football will celebrate senior night on Fri, Oct 18, 2024! Kick-off is at 7:30 PM, as the LC Bulldogs take on the Powell Co. Pirates at the LVJR Memorial Field! Thank you to Clayton Homes of Louisa, KY, who is giving away two $25 gift cards and a 55" TV! @LawrenceCoSch

LC Schools sends their well wishes to our student, Gunner Stepp, a 5th-grade student from Blaine Elementary, who recently had a life-saving liver transplant. We invite the community to send Gunner get-well mail as he continues to heal at Cincinnati Children's Hospital! @LawrenceCoSch

LMS and LCHS were visited by Morehead State University's Craft Academy representative, Mr. Jeremy Webb. The Craft Academy offers qualifying students the chance to live on MSU's campus during their junior and senior years, while providing a unique environment for personal growth and academic excellence. Congratulations to Miss Cassie Jo Damron for being selected as the 2024 LCHS Homecoming Queen, and to the LCHS football team for winning the LC KY Farm Bureau Bowl! We appreciate the sponsorship of the LC KY Farm Bureau for the homecoming game! @LawrenceCoSch

Best of luck to the LCHS girls' and boys' golf teams as they compete on Monday and Tuesday in regional competitions! The boys compete at Eagle Trace in Morehead, KY, and the girls compete at Indian Hills in Mt. Sterling, with tee time set at 9 AM! @LawrenceCoSch

The LC KY Farm Bureau Bowl Game is set with Lawrence County vs Harlan County on Homecoming night, Friday, September 20th, with tip-off at 7:30 PM! The first 100 LC students get into the game for free! Students can also enter their names at the KY Farm Bureau tent to win one of two $50 gift cards! The homecoming court will be introduced, and the Homecoming Queen will be crowned at halftime! Come out and support the Bulldogs!
