As we continue celebrating KY Board of Education Recognition Month, we recognize Ms. Barbara Robinson. Ms. Robinson serves District 5, which includes the Fallsburg, Buchanan, and Deep Hole areas. We appreciate Ms. Robinson's many years dedicated to our students and schools.

Ms. Roberts represents District 1, which includes the Clifford, Cherryville, Meades Branch, and Richardson areas. We appreciate her years of dedication to our LC Schools!
Reminder! LC Schools will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We plan to be open on a regular schedule on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. We are excited to see our students and staff back in our buildings!

Today, we shine a spotlight on Mr. Jim See, the LC Board of Education Chair, who has dedicated 19 years to serving LC Schools. Mr. See represents District 2, including the areas of Spring Hill, Adams, the Point Section, Stella Moore, and Brushy. We deeply appreciate his service and the difference he has made in the lives of our students and community.

Best of Luck to the LCHS Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs as they compete tonight in the 2A Tournament! The games will be played at Floyd Central, with the Lady Bulldogs at 6 PM and the boys at 7:30 PM. Go out and support the Bulldogs!
LCHS is thrilled to announce the Apprenticeship Building America 2 (ABA2) Program! Mr. Sparks, our dedicated Career Support Specialist, is currently working with 27 LCHS students on apprenticeship placement within our community businesses. We are deeply grateful for the invaluable support of our community business partners, who play a crucial role in providing career exploration opportunities and enhancing our students' employability skills. Dr. Collins, an employment mentor, has already begun working with the first group of students, focusing on various aspects of career readiness. We are very excited about the many opportunities that await our LCHS seniors!
