Fallsburg Elementary School planned the Pumpkin Painting activity and invited parents to join the fun! It was a picture-perfect day, and the students were so creative with their designs! Teachers used the pumpkins as a learning tool throughout the week leading up to the painting day! Some of the lessons included counting seeds, measuring circumference, and categorizing them by size and color!




October is Principal Appreciation Month! LC Schools appreciates our principals' leadership, hard work, and dedication to their students, faculty, and staff. Our principals have definitely made a difference in their student's lives! LC Elementary Schools will celebrate Red Ribbon Week from Monday, October 28th, through Friday, November 1st! Blaine Elementary, Fallsburg Elementary, Louisa East, and Louisa West have weekly dress-up days. Check out their activities planned throughout next week!

Congratulations to Fallsburg Elementary School, one of our KSA green-rated schools! This school has been ranked green for the last three years and recently recognized its students and staff with a green, three-peat celebration party! Ms. Kise, FES principal, is so proud of her students and staff for this accomplishment! Our school district's green schools have a driven focus on their student's well-being, learning environment, and educational goals! Congratulations to FES!



Fallsburg Elementary School started a free student haircut program last school year! Mrs. Ward, FES guidance counselor, felt there was a need. Stylists and barbers in the community rallied to offer their support and services. Mrs. Ward elaborated that she has witnessed the confidence boost it has had for the students! A big thank you to those who support this program for our kids! We love seeing all of these smiling faces!





Thank you to our LC Schools Family Resource and Youth Service Center coordinators for attending the LCHD Health Fair held at the LC Community Center! The FRYSCs discussed their current programs and gave away free digital thermometers!

The Louisa Fire Department will host an open house at the Louisa Community Center on Pike St. on Oct 12th from 12:00-4:00 PM. Health screenings, fire engine rides, inflatables, fire safety instructions, and food trucks will be on-site! Visit and enjoy the fun!
