Students at Louisa West Elementary School celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday on March 2, 2020. Students had enjoyed listening to their favorite Dr. Seuss books throughout the day.
In the afternoon, all students gathered in our cafeteria, in order to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday with birthday cake. Each child enjoyed cake and all joined in to sing “Happy Birthday!” Mr. Grady Cline, son of Mr. and Mrs. Erick Cline, is the only student in our school that has had Perfect Attendance, and therefore, came forward to blow out the candles on Dr. Seuss’ birthday cake. Many thanks to our wonderful cafeteria staff for the delicious and beautifully decorated cakes!

Thank you to Savage Farms and Louisa Rotary! The FRYSC coordinators were presented checks to help with the food/backpack program and other needs. We are blessed to have many community members that are #AllinLC
